Ways to pay
You may be able to use grant or tax-advantaged funds
Many parents do not realize that specialized literacy instruction for diagnosed reading needs often qualifies for pre-tax accounts and education funding programs.
FSA / HSA accounts
Flexible Spending (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) dollars can often cover or reimburse specialized reading intervention (Letter of Medical Necessity may be required by your provider).
529 savings plans
In many states, 529 education funds can be used for specialized tutoring and educational therapies.

Pricing questions
How does pricing work?
Every reading journey starts with a one-time Initial Assessment for $75. After that, Core Sessions are $65 each, and two sessions per week is strongly recommended to build steady momentum.
Are there any contracts?
No. There are no long-term contracts. You can adjust, pause, or stop sessions as your child's needs change.
Is 45 minutes too long for my child to stay focused?
Not at all, and they do not have to sit still! Orton-Gillingham instruction is fast-paced and multi-sensory by design. Rather than sitting through a lecture, your child moves quickly through active learning blocks, including a 3-part drill, phonogram dictation, syllable work, fluency practice, and red word mastery. Because every lesson is tailored to your child's age and skill level, this constant variety keeps active learners fully engaged and prevents fatigue from start to finish.
What happens if we need to miss or reschedule a session?
We know family schedules change! To maintain steady momentum and progress, we ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations. We will do our best to offer a makeup slot during the same week based on availability.
Why is twice a week strongly recommended?
Structured literacy builds on brain repetition and momentum. Meeting twice per week accelerates skill retention, reduces the need for review at the start of each lesson, and helps children build reading confidence much faster.
Can I use scholarship or grant funds?
Often, yes. Specialized literacy instruction may qualify for FSA/HSA dollars, 529 plans, and state programs like Learning Aid Ohio, Florida FES-UA, and Utah Fits All. Reach out and we'll help you check.
Is online the same price as in person?
Yes. Online and in-person sessions are the same price and follow the same structured, 1-on-1 Orton-Gillingham approach.
